Softwave Therapy
Non-Invasive Tissue Regenerative Therapy (TRT)
Softwave Therapy is an FDA approved, non-invasive Tissue Regenerative Therapy (TRT). Acoustic waves are used to stimulate healing and stem cell migration in the human body. The technology originated in Germany in 2008 and has since been widely used as an effective non-invasive treatment for a variety of conditions. It is also known as regenerative medicine, stem-cell therapy, shockwave and it is our go-to non-surgical alternative at Alpharetta Wellness Collective.
Clinically Proven Benefits of Softwave Therapy
- Stimulates Stem Cell Migration
- Increases Blood Vessel Volume 300%
- Decreases Pain
- Improves Mobility
- Fights Biofilms and Infections
What To Expect During Softwave Therapy Treatment
The Softwave applicator will pass directly over the skin above the damaged area, with the acoustic waves penetrating up to 8 inches into the body. Healthy tissue will feel little more than a light pulsation. However, damaged tissue will respond with a mild increase in pain. This diagnostic element of the treatment allows the practitioners to focus treatment on very specific problem areas. Softwave Therapy is quick and effective, with treatment time being roughly 5 minutes long. The effects are typically noticeable immediately after the first visit. Typically, 3-6 visits are recommended for maximum improvement.
